A lawsuit accuses Doña Ana County commissioners of violating New Mexico’s Open Meetings Act during a closed-door session in September where they approved tax breaks for a proposed artificial intelligence data center campus.

The Albuquerque-based New Mexico Environmental Law Center filed the lawsuit Feb. 6 in Doña Ana County District Court. It asks the court to void the ordinance passed Sept. 19 authorizing $165 billion in industrial revenue bonds for the controversial Project Jupiter. …
