EL PASO, Texas — A District Court judge in Las Cruces has ruled that the New Mexico Environmental Law Center’s lawsuit against Doña Ana County and its financing of the controversial Project Jupiter data center project can move ahead.
According to the center, Judge Jennifer DeLaney denied the Doña Ana County Commission’s motion to dismiss the lawsuit during a hearing on Friday, March 20.
“The decision is a victory for community members who will be harmed if the massive hyperscale data center moves forward,” the NMELC said. …
