DOÑA ANA COUNTY, N.M.– A significant victory has been achieved by a New Mexico environmental group against a proposed data center in southwestern New Mexico amid efforts to dismiss the lawsuit. Known as Project Jupiter, the center is a controversial development located in Doña Ana County.
It involves a massive AI data center being constructed in Santa Teresa, about an hour south of Las Cruces. The project has already secured funding incentives and received approval from the Doña Ana County Commission. …
